Service description
videocompressor.online provides a browser-based utility to reduce video file size for sharing tasks. The first version is MP4/H.264-first and local-first in supported browsers.
No guarantee of exact output
Target sizes such as 10MB, 16MB, and 25MB are best-effort targets, not guarantees. Compression results depend on the source file, duration, resolution, codec, browser, device, and memory.
Acceptable use
Use the service only with videos you have the right to process. Do not use it to infringe rights, break laws, or process illegal content.
Local files and responsibility
In the default workflow, selected videos remain on your device. You are responsible for keeping originals and checking the compressed output before sharing or uploading elsewhere.
Platform names
Discord, WhatsApp, Instagram, Meta, and email provider names are used only to describe sharing scenarios and target-size presets. This site is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, certified by, or officially connected to those platforms.
Provided as-is
The service is provided as-is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that compression will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every browser or codec, or suitable for any specific platform upload requirement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nextfield Labs LLC and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost files, failed uploads, platform rejections, or business interruption arising from use of the service.
Availability and changes
The service may fail on unsupported browsers, mobile devices, very large files, long recordings, or unusual codecs. We may change or discontinue features.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. videocompressor.online is operated by Nextfield Labs LLC.
