Local processing
The default video compression workflow runs locally in your browser. Your selected video is not uploaded to our servers for compression. Your browser may temporarily hold input and output video in local memory while processing.
Runtime engine files
When you start compression, your browser may load ffmpeg.wasm engine files from a third-party CDN such as unpkg; your selected video is not sent to that CDN. These engine files provide the in-browser compression runtime.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect video content, thumbnails, frames, filenames, local paths, raw media fingerprints, account data, or payment data in v0.
Data we may collect
We may collect static request/security logs through Cloudflare and privacy-safe analytics events such as route, event type, preset selected, bucketed file size or duration, browser family, and device class.
Analytics boundary
Analytics must not include filenames, paths, video content, thumbnails, exact file hashes, blob URLs, screenshots of user media, or raw media metadata that could identify a file.
Third-party services
The site is delivered by Cloudflare Pages/CDN/DNS/security. Plausible analytics may be used for privacy-safe aggregate events. Compression may load ffmpeg.wasm engine files from a CDN such as unpkg. No payment provider or server-side video storage is used in v0.
User rights
You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or opt-out help. Because v0 does not store your media on our servers, there is no server-side media copy for us to delete.
Children and updates
This service is not directed to children under 13. We will update this policy before adding accounts, payments, server upload, storage, or AI features.
